Since 1998, SAFY of Alabama has worked with youth and families to reach their full potential, building the foundation of well-being we all need to contribute to our communities. As a trusted organization supporting foster care, family services, and behavioral health in Alabama, SAFY partners with foster families, caregivers, and communities to provide safe, supportive environments for youth and families. Our work is rooted in helping families grow stronger together while ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Through trauma-informed practices and real-world support, SAFY of Alabama helps families build the stability, connection, and skills they need to thrive together. Led by Executive Director Larry Dancy, MS, LPC, SAFY of Alabama offers a blueprint of services based on research addressing the roots of trauma while effecting lasting change.
