City of Mobile Celebrates the Completion of the “Old Shell Road Underpass Project”

Old Shell Road Underpass Project Completed

In May, the city began work on the “Old Shell Road Underpass Project” to overhaul the area, resulting in improved walkability and aesthetics along with enhanced LED lighting.  On October 2^nd, the ribbon cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the project.  This revitalization would not have been possible without the dedication and vision of Lewis Beville, founder of Community of Mobile, Inc., the City of Mobile, Alabama Export Railroad, the project’s Sponsors, and community members who supported and funded this project!
